Ohmbook · EE Formula Calculator

Privacy Policy

Effective 9 October 2026

In short: Ohmbook does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal data. The app works entirely on your device and never connects to the internet.

Who is responsible

Ohmbook is developed and published by Ask Krat, who is responsible for this policy. You can reach me at akrat2720@gmail.com.

Data the app collects

None. Ohmbook has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. It makes no network connections and asks for no permissions (such as location, camera, contacts or photos).

Information stored only on your device

To make the app convenient to use, Ohmbook keeps a small amount of information locally on your iPhone or iPad:

Saved formulasThe formulas you star, so they appear in the Saved tab.
HistoryThe formulas you have recently opened (up to 30), shown in the History tab and under “Recent”.
Accent colourThe colour theme you choose on the Units tab.

This information never leaves your device and is never sent to me or anyone else. The values you type into calculators are not saved at all. If you back up your device with iCloud or your computer, this app data may be included in that backup, which is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

How to delete it

Information handled by Apple

Apple provides developers with aggregated, anonymous App Store statistics (such as download counts). If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may also share crash reports with me. These reports contain no personal information and are used only to fix bugs. Apple processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Children

Ohmbook is suitable for all ages, including students. Because the app collects no personal data, it collects no data from children.

Your rights

Under data protection laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and US state privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because Ohmbook does not collect personal data, I hold none about you. You remain in full control of the information stored on your device as described above. If you have concerns, you may also contact your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If Ohmbook’s handling of data changes, for example if a future version adds crash reporting or cloud sync, I will update this policy and the effective date above before that version is released, and update the App Store privacy details to match.
